Features of Python
This article is created to cover some of the features that compel the learner to learn Python. Those features are, but not limited to:
- Simplified syntax
- Easy to learn
- Easy to code
- Easy to maintain
- Free and open source
- Powerful
- Cross-platform
- Object-Oriented
- Portable
- Interpreted
- Interactive
- Beginner's language
- Supports GUI Programming
- Extensive number of libraries
- and many more
Python programs are sometime like, as simple as reading the book. For example, let's consider the following Python program:
a = 50
b = 60
print(a+b)
The output of this program is:
110
Can you see, how easy to understand the above code. That is, a is equal to 50, b is equal to 60, and print a+b, that of course will print 110. That's it. See how easy it is.
Most of its built-in functions are named in way that are in relatable word respective to its task.
