Embedded Operating System
Basically embedded systems run on the computers control devices that are not generally considered of as computers such as microwave ovens, TV sets, and mobile telephones.
These systems often have some characteristics of real-time system but also have memory, size, and power restrictions that make them special.
PalmOS and Windows Customer Electronics (Windows CE) are the examples of embedded operating systems.
